Ashley Byrne

is the owner of Byrnes Dental Laboratory. A leader in modern dental technology, he qualified with a degree in Dental Technology in 2000 and started his own lab with his dad in 2006. As early pioneers in the world of scanning and CAD-CAM, the lab has gone from strength to strength and now even has its own training facility. Ashley lectures on digital dentistry, and building a highly motivated team, and has spoken in countries as far as the USA, India and South Africa.

Michaela Sehnert

is a dentist and practice owner based in Halle (Saale), Germany. She graduated top of her class from Leipzig University in 2013 and founded her first practice, gesundesweiss, in 2016, where she focuses on a holistic and patient-centered approach. Her expertise includes aligner therapy, implantology, and preventive dentistry, with an emphasis on digital workflows and individualized care. Sehnert is a sought-after speaker for Align Technology, the C.L.E.A.R. Institute and Straumann, and serves as president of the German Society for Interdisciplinary Aligner Therapy (DGiA). In 2025, she expanded her work by founding gesundesweiss group GmbH and opening a second practice to advance modern, accessible dentistry. Michaela is the mother of two children and stands for a forward-looking, human-centered dentistry that unites innovation with responsibility.

• Kristina Vaitelytė

• is an experienced digital dental technician specializing in CAD/CAM technologies for over 10 years. Initially graduating with a BA Fine Arts degree, and pursuing a photography career, a decade later Kristina was inspired to use her skills in the digital dental revolution. After completing her second degree, BSc Dental Technology, Kristina has worked internationally alongside some of the pioneers in the industry. She enjoys mixing her two passions, photography and dental technology, in unique ways to showcase the art of the possible and inspire others.

• Dr. Miguel Stanley

• is the founder and clinical director of the globally renowned White Clinic, a leading dental center of the world for over 22 years, with a large, highly qualified team sought out by patients from all over the world. He is the co-founder of the Slow Dentistry Global Network®, a Swiss nonprofit organization focused on improving patient experience and safety during a visit to the dentist, with members in over 60 countries. Recognized as a pioneer in clinical implementation in many areas of advanced technology, he is a consultant and key opinion leader for leading companies in the industry. He was recently nominated as one of the top 100 dentists in the world by his peers and named one of the "32 Most Influential People in Dentistry."

• Dr. Eimar O’Connell

• received her dental degree from the University of Edinburgh. She has run her private dental practice in Edinburgh for over 25 years. She received her MFGDP and FFGDP from the Royal College of Surgeons London and her Diploma of Implant Dentistry from the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh. Eimar is currently the immediate past President of the ADI. Most recently, she attained a PGCert in sedation from Newcastle University.

• Daniel Portal

• is founder and director of Portal Digital Dentistry, a company that has trained hundreds of dental professionals around the world. As former Senior Trainer for exocad in North America, he was responsible for educating exocad resellers, labs, and dentists in the Western Hemisphere. In this role, he traveled extensively to teach lectures and demonstrations at trade shows in Germany, Canada, Argentina, Colombia, Brazil, Spain, Mexico, Hong Kong (China), and many other countries. Daniel has 13 years of experience using most CAD/CAM systems. Now, as the first exocad-Independent Certified Trainer in the Americas, Daniel continues to train doctors and technicians on how to implement the exocad software into their digital workflows.
