exocad’s constantly expanding verified component library databases contain a leading number of supported dental components. It is important to support the newest dental innovations right from the start. That’s why we support our partners, official resellers and dental component manufacturers to make the integration process of new and updated component systems as easy and efficient as possible. 

To enable us to use  your data within our software systems, it’s required to form a License Agreement. This License Agreement also allows us to use your company name, trademarks and related imagery/parameters within our software systems for displaying and advertising.

The Model Creator Module provides extensive options for designing digital models to meet specific requirements. If you're interested in integrating or creating a configuration tailored to your needs, please send us a detailed description of your desired outcome. We will evaluate the best possibilities and get back to you with a specific service offer. The following functionalities are available for individualization:

  • Plates: Plate type presets in the Model Creator Module allow you to create various setups for your model design. These presets can be combined with Attachments to develop specific workflows, ensuring the optimal model design for your needs. Integrating plate type presets will help you optimize and streamline your workflows, saving time and materials to create cost-effective digital models.
  • Lab Analogs: Integrating lab analogs into your workflow ensures that the prosthetic components are accurately fabricated to fit the implants. This step is crucial for creating precise and well-fitting restorations.
  • Attachments: Attachments provide a variety of customization options that can be added to generated digital models to enhance functionality or optimize the final outcome.

By integrating attachments, lab analogs, and plates into your practice, you can stay at the forefront of dental technology and provide exceptional care to your patients.

Plate type presets in the Model Creator Module can be used to define the model settings to your needs. Please contact exocad Technology Integration for further information.

To create models using our Model Creator module, it is necessary to define separate implant lab analog libraries. This is because Model Creator  Module is an additional module within exocad DentalCAD. The Implant Library Editor does currently NOT support the Model Creator library creation. Therefore a manually creation process is required to set up the libraries. We highly recommend using our Technology Integration Service to get your lab analog libraries integrated into DentalCAD.

Required for the library creation:

  • For each lab analog, a "hole"-shell-geometry as well a visualizer-geometry as .STL files are needed. Do not use any special characters in the filenames.
  • The lab analog itself as -STL file.
