The materials supported are defined by the manufacturing process: milling blanks, milling blocks, 3D print resins, and 3D-printed metals. One or more material types or restoration types can be selected simultaneously when defining a case in DentalDB, but it is not possible to select multiple manufacturers.
The configuration file containing these materials can also control many parameters that can be customized, allowing for a more tailored use of the materials, including restrictions and particular behavior of the DentalDB. It can also be saved locally or made available for all exocad users via dentalshare.
Always keep in mind that the materials used here are different from those used for creating 3D models or surgical guides.
