The first integration step is the creation of exoplan implant libraries. The exoplan surgical guide libraries (sleeves, kits, pins, protocols) are created after the implant integration is finished. The reason for this is that some information must be initialized first in the implant libraries, which will later be used in the sleeve and kits for compatibility. All exoplan libraries must be tested and validated internally. This process can be rather time consuming.
FDA cleared prosthetic libraries must be tested and validated internally before they are released into our download portal. This process can be rather time consuming. Prosthetic libraries for DentalCAD/ChairsideCAD also work in exoplan if they are made compatible with the implant libraries. The compatibility can be established by adding the implant connection information of the implant libraries to the prosthetic libraries after the exoplan implant libraries have been successfully integrated.
