AI Integration Developer (m/w/d)

We are seeking a talented and driven AI Integration Developer to join our team. In this role, you will contribute to the advancement of our cutting-edge dental software solutions by integrating machine-learning pipelines into cloud-hosted micro-services. This exciting opportunity requires a deep understanding of AI and familiarity with AWS. You will work with the latest machine learning and cloud technologies, and contribute to a very modern code base.

In this role, you will … 

  • Integrate machine-learning services developed by other teams in Align into our Cloud ecosystem.
  • Build or extend gRPC/REST services consumed by our main product, DentalCAD, and other Align products.
  • Develop interfaces and applications to interact with machine-learning models and collect training data.
  • Collaborate closely with machine-learning teams in Exocad and Align, acting as an MLOps specialist.
  • Manage the application lifecycle of backend services, including development, deployment, and operations, using existing infrastructure.
  • Develop unit tests and test concepts for backend services.

In this role, you’ll need … 

  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • At least 3 years of professional experience in software development.
  • A deep understanding of AI and machine learning, hands-on experience in AI development is a strong plus.
  • Strong proficiency in C#, Python as well as PyTorch.
  • Experience in building services using ASP.net, Flask, or similar server-side frameworks.
  • A strong understanding of Docker and AWS cloud technologies. Familiarity with GCP or Azure is a plus.
  • The ability to structure the execution of tasks with general supervision and to work independently.
  • Fluency in English, German is a strong plus.
