Software Development Engineer in Test*
Join a team that is changing millions of lives. Transforming smiles. Transforming lives. Transforming an industry. exocad is looking for a Software Development Engineer in Test. To work on very interesting new features, in a variety of technologies and areas of expertise.
The team currently is distributed between Darmstadt and Tel-Aviv (Israel), so good English knowledge is a must have.
As a Software Development Engineer in Test, you work with a cross-functional agile team. Verify existing and new functionality, test robustness and performance of web applications, develop and use tools for testing automation.
Your key responsibilities include:
- Review and provide feedback on application requirements
- Develop tools and automated tests for back-end and front-end web applications
- Act autonomously, provide inputs and suggestions
- Setup and maintain reliable test environments to run within CI/CD pipelines
- Verify scalability, reliability, and performance of applications
- Help engineers writing maintainable code meeting high quality standards
- Work closely with other development teams to facilitate work efforts
Who we’re looking for:
- 5+ years of experience in the software development industry
- Strong proficiency with manual and automated testing, development and use of tools for testing automation
- Good knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, and web technologies
- Good knowledge of software design principles
- Good knowledge of the software development process
- Good problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
