To strengthen our exocad development team in Darmstadt we are looking for you as
Manager, Machine Learning and AI Team, hybrid (m/w/d)
We are looking for a Team Manager for a Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence Team who will manage a team of around 4-8 team members and will develop Software in the area of ML and AI. You will work closely with the management and the other software developer teams at exocad.
This position is for a joint project of exocad and the parent company Aligntech. The workplace for this position is Darmstadt. However, our team is spread over several locations.
In this role, you will …
- Manage an AI and Software Development team with 4-8 members
- Manage Data Labeling efforts for the team Research & Software Development with focus on Machine Learning (ML) and Artificial Intelligence (AI)
- R&D Project Management
- Coordination of cooperation with management and product teams
In this role, you’ll need …
- Master's degree in computer science, or related fields (Math, Physics, Engineering) or comparable education
- 8+ years experience as a Software Developer
- 3+ years experience as a Team Manager
- 3+ years experience in Machine Learning
- Good knowledge of PYTHON knowledege of C++ is a strong plus)
- Knowledge about Software Development principles Architecture, CI/CD, Testing
- Strong analytical skills, ability to conduct research
- Willingness to lead and manage developer teams
- Ability to work independently and self-organized
- Familiar with agile development methodologies
- Good communication skills
- Highly proficient in spoken and written English (German is a plus)
